At First Church we are most concerned about worship. We also strongly emphasize discipleship, fellowship, stewardship and caring nurture. We are intentionally organized, so that, "What We Do" enables us to "Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters, not forgetting to entertain strangers" (Heb 13:5-6) and practicing "being strong in the Lord and His mighty power" (Eph 6:10).

Through our organizations and ministries, we offer a full calendar of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly opportunities for participation in the life of the church. Our organizations and ministries are committed to:

• Prepare us for spiritually enthusiastic worship
• Teach us what the Bible says about serving the Lord
• Provide a framework for praying
• Teach us to recognize our God given gifts and talents
• Keep us ever aware of the urgent need to spread the Word of God
• Create new Christian growth experiences
• Present opportunities for service to others
• Provide avenues for fellowship with one another
  

So you see we are busy at "What We Do". Pray that we may stay strong in our convictions so that we may be that light shining on a hill, a beacon and a safe haven for lost souls. Does this not make you want to be a part of the Kingdom?

Check out our list of organizations, the associated calendar and the weekly events! Take Education for example - there are so many opportunities for you to use your gifts and talents. Imagine the joy of helping a small child or teenager get an “A” in math. Tutoring is the Key!
