“Our mission is to network and manage resources to provide a long-term solution for the timely placement of displaced children.”
Since its inception in 1996, Harvest of Hope has realized that babies boarding in hospitals and other displaced children can have a loving and nurturing environment with the intervention of a caring and committed community. Church communities throughout New Jersey have been mobilized to form the Harvest of Hope Family Services Network, Inc. which addresses the "boarder baby" crisis. The churches in the existing network establish nurturing environments for babies by recruiting potential foster parents, providing relief to foster families through babysitting services and donations, and providing facilities for training and special events. We are expanding the network to invite our community groups, organizations and corporations throughout the country to support our efforts.
Harvest of Hope has offices in Middlesex, Essex and Atlantic Counties.
