Combining attention on the physical and the economic development our community, focusing particularly on human services needs, First Baptist has developed a strong and active partnership with community leaders, local business owners and social services institutions. We are partners joining our resources and talents to achieve mutual goals, develop creative solutions to local and regional problems and most importantly, to redevelop and revitalize the human and physical facets of the community.

Harvest of Hope is a program that identifies and trains foster parent recruits through a network of churches in the state of New Jersey. An overwhelming number of infants are medically cleared for discharge yet from our hospitals each month, yet they are left boarders. Through Harvest of Hope babies boarding in hospitals are placed in loving and nurturing home environments. The Harvest of Hope Foster Care Program has mobilized faith-based organizations throughout NJ to recruit potential foster parents to alleviate the "boarder baby" crisis. Want you help? Consider babysitting for a today!

Family Resource Center (FRC) is a faith-based program that partners with and assists families in becoming self-sufficient by linking them with community resources. FRC provides a comprehensive array of internal and external family support services, from employment opportunities and health resources to housing options and legal advice.

The Community Development Corporation (FBCDC) was formed to improve social, educational and economic conditions in the community surrounding the First Baptist Church operates on the belief that individuals and families, when provided with the proper resources and support will help themselves. Services provided through this program, tailored to developmental and cultural needs of the community.
