At First Baptist, we want you to feel at home, to have a place
where you can find support and encouragement, and an opportunity
for fellowship and the development of significant relationships.
But how can that happen in a church of this size? Simple: by getting
involved in a Family Care Circle.
Through the small group setting of FCC, you will connect with others
as a part of the FBC family. Our effort is to keep the intimacy
of a small church within a large church setting. Family Care Circles
meet in homes on a regular basis for fellowship, prayer and for
outreach to those in need of a relationship with Christ.
Who needs one?
Families and single members who want to grow in their Christian
life. Although circle participation is voluntary, members are encouraged
to participate in the fellowship.
In what community activities have Family Care Circles participated?
Family Care Circles have volunteered at soup kitchens, hosted
a birthday celebration for the Harvest of Hope children, and donated
Christmas gifts to needy children.
Who leads the Care Circles?
Family Care Circle leaders volunteer to serve for one year,
and after the first year may serve subsequent years. Circle leaders
welcome new members to the care circles, confirm address of assigned
members once a year, and encourage spiritual development and involvement
of members in the life of the church.
How do I get involved?
