Discipleship is one of the core values of First Baptist Church. In obedience to
God's Word, we are dedicated to making disciples. The word disciple means learner; a disciple is one who studies and accepts the teachings of Christ. Discipleship is evident first in belief and then in practice.

First Baptist is faithful to its commitment to make disciples through our Christian
Education Ministry. Christian education is the foundation for shaping belief, nurturing the faith and equipping the saints to extend the ministry of Christ on the earth.

Through preaching and teaching, members are challenged to exhibit their faith by way of involvement in a ministry of First Baptist Church and or involvement in the First Baptist Community Development Corporation.
